ABOUT VGEE

VGEE Pty Ltd was established in 2021 in New South Wales (NSW), focusing on renewable energy projects. The company's first milestone was completing a prefeasibility study for a 10 MW battery storage solar farm. VGEE is composed of an experienced and skilled team with over 20 years of expertise in various fields, including mining, utilities, water and wastewater management, and complex infrastructure projects, including renewable energy. This extensive experience enables us to design, execute, and manage projects at the highest international standards. Our interdisciplinary team of specialists excels in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control, and civil structural engineering, ensuring all aspects of a project, from preliminary studies and engineering design to execution and commissioning, are handled with precision and quality. 25yrs project experience in Managing in the delivery of Civil Infrastructure, Processing plants, Water Waste Water Treatment plants, Complex Infrastructure, Non-process Infrastructure projects across Australia and overseas. The Mines included Nickel (BHP Including Olympic DAM), Copper (RIO TINTO), Gold (Newcrest) Coal (BHP) MMG and Glencore (Zinc), Alcoa (Bauxite) and Complex Infrastructure (Senior Project Manager) for the building of New Dubbo Bridge project ($250m). Also experienced in the Management, Development and Delivery of Projects from IPS, SPS, DPS and Execution to provide deliverables, managing safety, quality, schedule, cost, and capital cost efficiency and Project Closeout.

Procurement Plan

VGEE aims to broaden opportunities for Aboriginal training, employment, and business and indirectly influence an increase in school attendance and retention.

VGEE adopts a companywide approach to improving opportunities for Aboriginal people in our projects across the NSW, VIC, and QLD teams. VGEE’s Aboriginal Participation Plan outlines our strategic approach to complying with the Policy on Aboriginal Participation in Construction, including the employment of Indigenous personnel where possible.

The following commitments are made as part of this Aboriginal Participation Plan:

  • Provide Aboriginal Participation Reports at the times specified in the contract and in the format prescribed by the client.
  • Fully allocate the Minimum Aboriginal Participation Spend to eligible spend types from the date of any contract award up to the date of completion.
  • Engage with local Aboriginal communities, Aboriginal organisations, or Aboriginal industry bodies to support the achievement of Aboriginal participation requirements.
  • Support and cooperate with audits of Aboriginal Participation Plans and reporting.
